About the Exhibit

Travels in Mali and Haiti inspired the artist to paint children
in moments of despair.  Poverty of means does
not mean poverty of spirit.  The paintings serve as window
for us to see the beauty of cultures far away from
our Iowa experience.

Lee Rainboth will be demonstrating at the Art Barn during The Clay County Fair and visiting local schools to share his experiences in Africa and Haiti.
